"If we Just talk about the fact that

we are different

and acknowledge why we are different,

instead of pretending that nobody is different and still secretly thinking we are different,

we might finally all be on the same page and be less different."

Welcome to Tuxis

The TUXIS Youth Parliament of Alberta is the longest running youth parliament in Canada. We have a passion for debate, politics, and most importantly bettering our communities.

For the youth,

 by the youth.

As a youth parliament our mission is to guide youth on their journey and empower them to do your best.

Winter   Session

Our flagship event is our annual December session, where we spend six fun-filled days debating member-written resolutions inside the Legislative Building.

This session is structured to be similar to the sittings of the actual Legislature, and we follow Westminster Parliamentary procedure. However, TUXIS is completely non-partisan and members are free to take whatever side in a debate that they wish to.

Despite winter session being our main event, TUXIS has other smaller events and conferences that are open to new members.
